Today is valentines day, the heat is raising with divergent pulses and hearts wondering-trying to locate zones and caves where they could possibly lay their feelings. Many hearts are racing with excitement though its not a norm for others to wonder about in distant horizons.
Coby my friend believes that “every day can be viewed as valentines day to people in healthy relationships”,with celebrating wedding anniversaries, the day you first met ,candle light family dinners and so much more.He goes ahead to enlighten me that several martyrdom stories are connected to February 14 including saint Valentine of Rome who was imprisoned for performing weddings for soldiers who were forbidden to marry because the Roman empire king Claudius believed that married men couldn’t be potential soldiers.
According to this narrative-during his imprisonment,Saint Valentine healed the daughter of his jailer and before his guillotine,he wrote a letter to this same girl signed ” Your Valentine” as a farewell.Possibly he had fallen deeply in love with her.
He died as a hero – his sacrifice is significant and vital to emulate ,14th February should not be the sole day we flaunt our unconditional love.Everyday can be valentines day, let’s always remember to keep warm thoughts for our loved ones and give hope to those that yearn for it.

THINKING OUT LOUD: Many things you do for yourself are always forgotten when your gone but what you do for others stays as your legacy
